Sue Brewster

Sue has been involved in the Health and Fitness sector for the last 30 years both as a fitness professional and coach. She has a degree in Recreation Sport Management and has attained the Triathlon NZ Level 1 coaching qualification, she is currently studying Stacy Sims, The menopause for athletes course. Sue loves keeping up to date with the latest research and encourages her athletes to look at all aspects of health, physical, mental, and spiritual.

Sue’s triathlon career started back in 2002 with a woman’s only event and from there she has gone on to compete in two Ironman races along with representing New Zealand in both the ITU World Championships for Long Course and Standard Distance Triathlon. Sue has also competed in many half Ironman events in New Zealand and overseas.

These days Sue enjoys keeping active by walking/running, taking part in The Spirited Woman’s events, going to the gym, spending time with family, and supporting her athletes at events.

She believes having personally competed in events from Sprint through to Ironman distance has given her the knowledge and experience to coach an athlete simply wanting to give triathlon a go and also those wanting to be competitive.

Sue currently works as a learning assistant at Chelsea Primary part-time along with running her coaching business.
